Year 6 Transition Day – Tuesday 1st July 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are very much looking forward to welcoming your child on our transition day on Tuesday 1^st July 2025. I write to confirm the arrangements for the day so you are clear on when your child should arrive, and when they will be dismissed. I have also included some other details so your child is fully prepared for the day.

Arrival time	Please arrive to school at 9.25am, ready for a 9.30am start. Pupils will enter the school via the Auckland Rd entrance and will be met by senior staff members. Tutors will gather their tutees and they will line up ready to be taken to their classrooms.
Uniform	We expect all pupils to be wearing their full primary school uniform. Trainers are permitted if they are black.
Break and Lunch	Pupils will be provided with a break time snack and lunch during the day. Your child can bring a packed lunch if they wish.
Equipment	We expect the pupils to bring a bag and a black pen with them on the day.
Mobile Phones	If children bring a phone to school, it will be handed in to their tutor and stored securely. They will then be given their phone back at the end of the day, to prepare pupils for the routine in September.
Finish Time	Pupils will leave the school site via the Auckland Rd gate at 2.30pm.
