Teacher of Computer Science (OCR GCSE, (9-1) - J276)

Required for September 2018, part time - two hours each week after school (3.15pm – 5.15pm), flexible around the day

Fixed term for one year in the first instance

Payment to be commensurate with experience

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative Teacher of Computer Science. Blacon High School is an 11-16 school in the heart of the Blacon community. We moved into our brand new £12 million building in September 2016 and we have superb ICT facilities and a wealth of other features.

The post is to deliver the OCR GCSE to a small group of students who have started this course in Year 9. They are very interested and committed to continuing their learning.

Blacon High School prides itself on being restless and always striving for improvement. In our most recent OFSTED in January 2016 we were judged to be a good school. We are now looking towards improving upon this as we move forward.
