Table Tennis
The boys under 15’s and under 13’s are Chester and District Table Tennis Champions for a second year running after both teams won round robin tournaments at Upton High School against Tarporley, Abbeygate and Upton in singles play. The under 13 team comprised Jamie Jones, Charlie Cottis, Dylan Worton and Dylan Edwards and they were all impressive in winning their matches, with Dylan Worton not losing a single game. The under 15 team of Layton Ashford, Jake Dean, Tom Crawford and Matt Feenan had to be at their very best to beat an impressive Tarporley team going on to succeed overall with Matt Feenan and Layton Ashford not losing a single game. The PE department are extremely proud of their achievements as we continue to excel in Table Tennis within Chester schools and we followed up last year’s Cheshire and Warrington Winter Games Table Tennis championship win where Kia Piggott, Katie Lea Rigby, Jake Dean and Layton Ashford were victorious.
